Cargo Service Executive / Business Support Executive

​JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Co-ordinate with local and overseas Freight Forwarders, Cargo & Ground Handling Agents and business partners
  • Organize and accept cargo bookings and perform load planning
  • Handle daily operations such as arranging cargo pick up and build up
  • Monitor and supervise the day-to-day cargo terminal operation
  • Monitor and supervise the aircraft turnaround and ramp handling activities
  • Handle telephone inquiries and follow up as appropriate
  • Maintain good communication and relationship with both internal and external customers
  • Prepare monthly reports, e.g. tonnage report, sales report and flight movement report
  • Analyze all opportunities and recommend ways to improve efficiency and reduce costs
  • Handle cargo irregularities such as chasing and claims
  • Able to show professionalism to our customers and maintain company benchmarks
  • Assist in cargo sales and promote company products
  • Airway bill stock control and cargo document filing
  • Liaise with finance for invoice preparation, follow up with payment requests and serve reminders to debtors to ensure payments are receive on time

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

 

  • Form 5 or above
  • Candidate with experience and knowledge in the aviation, or logistics industry has a definite advantage
  • Outgoing and willing to learn and take initiative
  • Willing to work under pressure with tight deadline schedule
  • Work independently, self-motivated, proactive, energetic and customer oriented
  • Good command of written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese Word processing
  • Holding a valid IATA DGR certification will be an advantage
