Job Duties:

• Designing for contents on online platforms, social media and offiine marketing materials such as banners, posters, pamphlets, souvenirs, publications  and exhibition display,   e.g.:
• Social feed visuals : around  10 visuals per month
• Design of key visuals or logos for banners and buntings:  around  5 per month
• Marketing materials: around 20 designs per month
• Processing and adaptation of design materials including photo shooting, photo and video editing, photo retouching,  e.g.:
• Resize and retouch images for publications and website: around 10 images  per month
• Assist  in reproducing awards or certificates for printing:  200pcs
• Performing other duties as required.

Employment Terms:

• Work location : Shatin 
• Work hours: 5 days a week from 9am to 6pm, Monday to Friday, off on Sat, Sun and PH.  Irregular work hours may be required due to operational needs, such overtime work will be compensated by time-off in lieu
• Contract Period: 6 months work contract with possibility of renewal
• Monthly salary: HK$19,000 + 2.5% contract end gratuity

Candidates Requirement:

• A Diploma or Higher Certificate in Design from a Hong Kong polytechnic university or HKIVE or equivalent, for which at least specialized in one of the following subjects: Visual Communication  Design,  Advertising  Design,  Multimedia  Design,  Environmental  Design, Product  Design,   or equivalent;
• Meeting the language proficiency requirements of Level 2 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in HKDSE  or HKCEE,  or equivalent;
• Good knowledge in computer applications including Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and Sketchup (or equivalent 3D software on Mac platform).
• Proficiency  in computer software including Microsoft  Word, Excel,  PowerPoint  and word­ processing  in  both  Chinese  and English;
• At least 2 years’ full-time post-qualification  working experience in design;
• Knowledge in photography,  videography,  animation, photo  and video editing,  page making and  online  publishing  will  be  an advantage;
• Knowledge in library  and cultural  services, including  performing  arts, museums  and films, will be an advantage;
• Possession of creative mind, art and marketing sense
