Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoicing, processing payments, and following up on outstanding balances
- Reconcile bank statements and other accounts to ensure accuracy of financial records
- Assist with the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts
- Conduct internal audits and provide recommendations for improving financial controls and procedures
- Ensure compliance with all applicable accounting standards, tax laws, and other financial regulations
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support strategic decision-making
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial reporting and advice
- Stay up-to-date on changes in accounting principles, tax laws, and industry best practices
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- More experience can be considered Senior Accountant
- 3-5 years of experience in an accounting or finance role
- Proficient in using accounting software i.e. Flex System, spreadsheets, and other financial reporting tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
