Paralegal

Asia Satellite Telecommunications Company Limited is a market leading company in the Asia-Pacific satellite market. We are looking for a paralegal to join our team.  Working out of Taipo and reporting to the General Counsel, your key responsibilities will be to provide support to our legal team in the department’s day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review and revise commercial contracts and legal documents;
  • Assist with handling KYC and customer onboarding issues;
  • Support the legal team in updating corporate policies and procedures; assist in providing legal, compliance and regulatory updates;
  • Conduct research on relevant laws and regulations;
  • Distribute and circulate legal documents and bills for approval and execution;
  • Maintain documents and information on the legal department physical and electronic filing systems;
  • Support other ad-hoc duties assigned from time to time.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in laws or equivalent;
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience or above at a reputable top law firm or in an in-house legal practice or compliance department;
  • Be a team player and with business acumen;
  • Detail minded and self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility;
  • Strong communications skills and good command of English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
