Responsibilities:-

• Understand latest fashion trend and translate into design concept & new developments, able to develop design sketches & tech pack independently;

• Working closely with the Sales and Raw Material teams to identify market and customer needs;

• Planning new development timeline & communicate with different departments;

• Follow up the entire workflow of the development from design to sampling;

• House keeping & filing all the new development & archives;

• Presentation to both internal and external customers;

• Assist ad hoc duties as required.

• Station in Dongguan will be required, i.e. 2 days per week;

Requirements:-

• Degree in Knitwear /Sweater Design/ Fashion Design/ Textile or related discipline;

• At least 2 years’ solid experiences in knitwear design with experience in US/EU market or China market will be an advantage;

• Possess technical knitwear/sweater skills and yarns knowledge;

• Good markets sense and to develop marketable collections to suit customers’ needs;

• Creative and excellent in knitwear/sweater technical knowledge and yarn sourcing;

• Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator and MS Office applications;

• Knowledge in virtual 3D simulation and garment design, familiar with Browzwear, CLO, Style3D, APEX 3/4 is a plus;

• Creative, energetic, self-motivated, responsible with good design sense and the ability to work independently;

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment;

• Good command of spoken and written English and Mandarin;

• Station in Dongguan will be required, i.e. 2 - 3 days per week;

• Immediate availability will be highly preferred.
