bbase presently has an opportunity for a Product Development Assistant to support our Product Development team, with a focus on supporting our sample management process.  

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for an individual who is ready to start their career in fashion.  You may have just completed a fashion related qualification (or be almost finished).   This role offers career progression into a junior product developer role, followed by a product developer role.  You: 

• Have a combination of attention to detail & a passion for creativity
• Have a keen eye for design and trends and have good market awareness 
• Are independent, self motivated and have strong time management skills 
• Have strong communication skills 
• Are skilled with Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite. 
• Languages: English and Cantonese (we will consider English only for the right candidate)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: 

• Organize and maintain the sample master wall to ensure all designs and materials are accessible and up to date.
• Pull match backs as needed to support team development efforts
• Photographing (and retouching) new designs, samples and new materials
• Input new shapes, components and materials into the database with accuracy
• Assist in color swatch matching to ensure the highest level of accuracy in design and sampling
• Support PD team with reporting and other PD tasks
• Coordinate with factories and suppliers to source shapes and components for client and in-house developments
• Pack and ship samples, materials, and other development-related items as required. Ensure all parcels are properly labeled and tracked.
