Assistant Finance Manager (Corporate)

Key Responsibilities
Report to Finance Manager

  • Responsible for handling quality financial reports, consolidations, business performance analysis, cash flow, budgeting & forecasting;
  • Review and streamline the daily accounting workflow to strengthen the internal controls and automation;
  • Assist to implement, evaluate, and support test and live run of programs to enhance the automation;
  • Assist for the preparation of the annual reports, statutory audit and taxation related issues;
  • Liaise with external parties (lawyers, auditors, bankers and other professionals) on various financial and compliance matters;
  • Provides execution & decision-making support on key financial initiatives;
  • Assist Finance Manager and CFO in all other business and financial matters.

To be successful in this role, you will be required to have the following attributes:

  • Degree holder in accountancy with a professional accounting qualification, such as member of ACCA / HKICPA;
  • Over 5-8 years in financial/accounting field, at least 3 years audit experience / working in listed companies is preferred;
  • Familiar with local tax law, listing rules and regulations on company law; and also good knowledge in accounting, audit & taxation;
  • Experience in participation of the development and enhancement of the ERP system is a preference;
  • Proficiency in using MS applications, including strong skills in using excel (including pivot tables, charts);
  • Good communication skill and fluency in writing and speaking of English and Chinese;
  • Strong analytical and reporting writing skills;
  • Mature, initiative, independent with problem-solving and team leadership skills;
  • Occasional travel to the PRC is required;
  • Candidate with less qualification and experience will be considered as Senior Finance Officer;
  • Immediate available is preferred.
