Assistant / Compliance Manager (Hong Kong Branch)

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in promoting compliance and operational risk management in accordance with regulatory and head office management requirements.
  • Follow up on regulatory policies, the latest changes in laws and head office requirements, analyze the impact and promote the implementation at the branch. Timely improve the branch governance system and make suggestions on branch compliance operations.
  • Assist in identifying and controlling the branch's compliance and operational risks, conduct assessments and inspections of each business unit.
  • Conduct relevant statistics and reports on compliance and operational risks.
  • Complete other tasks assigned by superior manager.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Economics, Law, IT or related disciplines.
  • A minimum 1~2 years relevant working experience.
  • Preference is given to candidates with Compliance or Operation /Risk Management experience and those with professional qualifications such as CFA, FRM, HKICPA, ACIB, CSTMP, or ECF.
  • Knowledge of global financial markets and treasury management is an added advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Chinese; proficiency in Mandarin is required.
