Product Manager (Financial Markets)

Job Duties

  • Independently manage trading-related product development initiatives, including designing product development plans aligned with traders’ requirements, drafting system user requirements, overseeing end-to-end product due diligence processes, implementing internal PDD (Product Due Diligence) requirements, and ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Serve as an internal product expert, working closely with Risk Management, Operations, Legal & Compliance, technology teams, and other stakeholders to design and implement new products.
  • Continuously improve trading product libraries, optimize operational flows, and enhance internal governance frameworks.
  • Keep abreast of market evolution and trends, analyze features of the competing local and global products, and formulate actionable product development proposals.
  • Track RMB market dynamics and regulatory changes in domestic and international markets. Support the implementation of key cross-border initiatives.
  • Facilitate product due diligence reviews for SEA branch operations
  • Assist in trading-related system enhancement initiatives, including requirement analysis and UAT.

Requirements:

  • Degree holder or above with major in Finance, Economics, Math or related subjects.
  • 1-5 years relevant overseas or onshore working experience in financial market product development.
  • Sound knowledge of trading-related products, Familiarity with the front to end operational procedure and risk management requirements.
  • Experience in structural product development is preferred.
  • Profound knowledge and understanding of the relevant regulations and policies of the financial markets.
  • Strong project management and communication skills.
  • Problem solver with a positive attitude.
  • Strong determination and sense of responsibility.
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
  • Less experienced candidate can be considered as Assistant Product Manager.
