Job Duties

• To implement business strategy of treasury functions and responsible for meeting the profit objectives set.
• With solid financial product and risk knowledge and experience, and reasonable sensitivity to the market, dynamically capture customer needs and potential market opportunities.
• Focus on customer needs, and sensitive to risks. Always pay attention to compliance principles, and being efficient and effective.
• To implement all policies / guidelines as decided by BOC Limited/ BOC Hong Kong/Management in relation to the smooth running of the treasury operations.
• To ensure all rules and regulations, internal and external policies and guidelines pertaining to all treasury operations including foreign exchange and money market operations are complied with at all times.
• To ensure dealing limits set by Management are adhered to strictly and to report any breach to HO / Management for immediate ratification.
• Ensure that the Bank’s liability requirements are funded in the most effective and economical way.
• To maintain a portfolio of quality and marketable money market instruments for investment, aimed at optimizing returns within the framework of acceptable risks as approved by HO /Management.
• Coach, guide and transfer the banking skills, knowledge and technicalities to staff.
• Keep abreast with Financial Market Policies of BOCHK and BOC Limited and to conduct review on the policies, recommend for necessary enhancements/localization for better alignment of practices, whilst conforming to local regulatory framework.
• Willing to work at the Southeast Asian branch of BOCHK.

Requirements:

• Professional qualifications in CFA, FRM and equivalent will be an advantage.
• 10+ years relevant working experience in financial market, including products, money market liquidity management, etc.
• Profound knowledge and understanding of the relevant regulations and policies of the financial markets.
• Strong planning, coordination and communication skills.
• Problem solver with a positive attitude.
• Strong determination and sense of responsibility.
• Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
