Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and update interactive eLearning courses (using Articulate 360/Rise/Storyline) for audit, financial reporting, and compliance training.

• Transform complex audit standards (e.g., HKSA, HKFRS) into engaging, beginner-friendly modules.

• Collaborate with subject-matter experts in audit/risk teams to validate content accuracy.

• Conduct virtual/in-person training sessions on audit methodologies, firm tools, and financial reporting.

• Monitor learning effectiveness by analyzing data, reviewing training reports, collecting feedback, and generating insights, then provide recommendations for continuous improvement.

• Assist in managing the annual L&D calendar for audit/technical training.

• Create user guides/tutorials to enhance staff proficiency in audit tools.

• Research and integrate innovative training methods, such as microlearning, gamification, and AI tools.

• Update materials to reflect changes in regulations, firm policies, or global audit standards.

• Act as the liaison between local staff and global IT to troubleshoot audit software issues

• Support and uphold the BDO Global Vision

• Demonstrate commitment to the firm's core values and competency expectations

Requirements

• Degree holder or above in Accounting and Business Administration, or related disciplines.

• Min 4 - 6 years of audit experience, with additional experience in training delivery and eLearning design is highly preferred.

• Solid knowledge of HKSA and IFRS standards.

• Expertise in using learning management systems and e-learning authoring tools.

• Proficiency in Articulate 360 (Storyline, Rise) or similar

• Experience designing interactive audit/financial reporting courses

• Basic graphic/video editing skills for course enhancements

• Proficient in data analytics software (e.g., Excel, Power BI) to track training outcomes, with basic graphic and video editing skills to enhance courses.

• Familiarity with the broader Microsoft 365 suite (e.g., Teams, Forms, SharePoint).

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective training delivery and relationship-building with stakeholders at all levels.

• Fluent in English, Chinese, and Putonghua.

• Ability to collaborate with global IT/audit teams to resolve tool functionality issues.
