Support external audit engagements by delivering technology-driven audit services. This role focuses on evaluating IT risks, strengthening control assurance, and leveraging data analytics to enhance audit quality in a rapidly evolving digital environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess enterprise IT environments, business processes, and risks

• Perform IT audits execution covering IT general controls (ITGC) and automated business process controls, including IT application controls (ITAC)

• Evaluate control design, implementation and operating effectiveness to ensure data reliability

• Apply computer-assisted audit techniques (CAATs) and advanced tools

• Analyse large financial and non-financial datasets using tools to identify anomalies and audit risks

• Document audit findings and communicate recommendations clearly to engagement teams and clients

• Support and act towards the BDO Global Vision

• Be committed to act with the firm’s core values and competency expectations

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, or related field

• CISA, CISSP, or CPA (IT-focused) preferred

• Minimum 3 years of IT audit experience in professional services or financial services

• Understand IT infrastructure, applications, databases, networks, and cybersecurity

• Proficiency in SQL and Power BI

• Well written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua

Preferred attributes

• Stay updated on emerging technology, international standard and regulatory trends

• With additional programming skills (e.g., Python, VBA, Java) as an advantage

• Willing to travel
