Responsibilities

• Lead valuation and market analysis engagements for financial reporting, transaction and/or litigation support purposes.

• Identify and address key risks in valuation models and reports and/or review the valuations prepared by other valuers.

• Drive valuation and deal advisory projects end-to-end, monitoring all aspects of any given assignment to ensure quality and on-time delivery.

• Prepare and present clear, concise progress updates and key findings to senior management and other stakeholders.

• Collaborate with and support other service lines of the department such as due diligence, M&A, litigation support and other advisory services.

• Support and act towards the BDO Global Vision

• Be committed to act with the firm’s core values and competency expectations

Requirements

• Degree in any one of the following areas: Finance, Accounting, and/or Economics.

• Minimum 10 years of working experience in valuations of businesses, intangible assets, structured products, hedge funds, real estates and financial instruments is required.

• Proven leadership and problem-solving skills, with the ability to motivate and manage teams to deliver high-quality results.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex valuation concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audience.

• Strong ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple assignments independently under tight deadlines.

• Commitment to delivering quality output and ability to master news tasks quickly.

• Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese.

• Holder of at least one relevant professional qualification (e.g. HKICPA, ACCA, CFA Charter, MRICS).

• Familiarity with crypto assets, digital platforms and analytics tools is an advantage.
