Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Finance to manage the financial operations of our family office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and investment management, along with a Type 9 license. This role will involve overseeing fund finances, budgeting, reporting, and compliance while collaborating closely with the family principals and fund general partners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Management: Oversee all financial operations of the family office investment portfolio, venture capital fund and education foundation and businesses, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

• Fund Administration: Manage fund accounting, valuations, and investor reporting to ensure accuracy and compliance.

• Deal Support: Collaborate with the investment team on deal structuring and financial analysis to support investment decisions.

• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and maintain a Type 9 license, adhering to all legal and regulatory requirements.

• Portfolio Monitoring: Track and evaluate the financial performance of portfolio companies, providing insights and recommendations to the investment team.

• Investor Relations: Prepare and present financial reports to investors, addressing inquiries and maintaining strong relationships.

• Team Leadership: Mentor and lead finance team members, fostering professional development and a collaborative work environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA, CPA or relevant advanced degree preferred.

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in finance, with a focus on venture capital or private equity.

• Type 9 license is required.

• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders.

• Proficiency in financial software and tools; experience with fund management systems is a plus.

• Details-oriented, with a strong sense of integrity and professionalism.
