Technical Officer (Analytical Chemistry)

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical update of chemical testing for global regulation involving major market - US, EU, Canada, Australia, Japan, Korea, South East Asia , South Asia, etc., in Global Technical Service analytical team for Softline, Hardline, Toy item
  • Coordination of global SOP method, lab guidance, test line creation and amendment to fit for the new regulation update. Establish new testing service roll out communication to BV lab network and establish BV bulletins
  • Work with both our US, EU and other location BV technical team to work out the analytical testing details for the new regulation update or specific program client request
  • Handle internal technical inquiry related to analytical testing from lab operation, key account management and program service delivery 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree or above in Chemistry or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1-2 years working experience
  • Experience in testing laboratory is prefer
  • Sound Chemistry knowledge and strong technical background
  • Good command of English and Chinese preferably including Mandarin
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office, e.g. Words, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.
  • A can-do and follow-through spirit, able to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure
