Purpose of Position

We are seeking a passionate PR professional to join our team. As the Assistant PR & Communications Manager of the global PR & Communications team, you will be the vital bridge connecting our global vision with regional execution, with a special focus on the US market. Partnering closely with our PR & Communications Manager, you will help co-create and drive worldwide PR initiatives. You will ensure our brand storytelling is culturally resonant, inclusive, and impactful, whether it’s landing a feature in New York or launching a campaign in Tokyo.

Job Description

• Global Strategy & Execution: Partner with the PR Manager to drive and support global PR strategies, ensuring seamless alignment between our regional teams and global brand directives.
• US Market Focus: Drive the day-to-day execution of our US PR strategy. Cultivate warm, authentic relationships with key US media outlets, cultural tastemakers, and influencers.
• Agency Partnership: Assist in the management of the relationship with our US PR agency, ensuring campaigns are executed flawlessly whilst aligning with our global brand voice.
• Toolkits & Storytelling: Assist in developing and executing the global communications calendar. Create inclusive, premium PR toolkits, messaging frameworks, and assets that regional markets can easily adapt and localize.
• Cultural Activations: Play a key role in coordinating global PR for major cultural moments (e.g., Art Basel, Fashion Weeks), ensuring our brand shows up authentically.
• Team Collaboration: Act as a supportive mentor to junior members of the team, fostering a collaborative, kind, and high-performing team culture.
• Insights & Analytics: Track global PR performance using a variety of media management software, transforming data into actionable insights for senior leadership.
• Budget Support: Assist the PR Manager in tracking and optimizing the global PR budget across our diverse regions.

Requirement

• Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Journalism, or equivalent in a relevant field.
• 4+ years of hands-on PR experience, either agency or in-house, with a proven track record navigating the US media landscape and working with top-tier US press.
• A portfolio of secured coverage in major publications and a deep understanding of what makes a story compelling.
• A deep understanding of global media landscapes (especially the US and ideally also APAC) and a natural sensitivity to diverse cultures and inclusive messaging.
• Proficiency in PR analytics tools and workspace platforms (Google Workspace). You are highly organized and detail-oriented, and you can manage multiple priorities with grace.
• Exceptional English communication skills (written and spoken) to craft compelling narratives. Fluency in additional languages is a wonderful bonus that we highly value.
• Highly consumer-focused, passionate about tech & lifestyle trends.
