Responsibilities:
Carries out chemical analysis of construction samples (e.g. Concrete, cement or steel) by utilizing spectrometer, spectroscopy and titration technique.
Prepare test solutions, reagents and samples for conducting material tests.
Performs laboratory operations in accordance with standard operating procedures and fulfill the requirement stated in quality manual.
Records data in a tidy manner and reports to senior laboratory staff if there are any problems.
Calculate test results through applying determined limits and standard.
Operates, calibrates and maintains specific laboratory equipment (e.g. ICP/OES, Spark/MS or Nitrogen analyzer) under the supervision of senior laboratory staff
Develop QC charts, graphs and reference files on laboratory data.
Maintains good housekeeping of the laboratory
Requirements:
Higher Diploma or above in Chemical Analysis, Chemical Technology or related disciplines.
Hardworking, self-motivated and able to work under pressure.
Willing to work overtime.
Candidate with more experience and qualification will be considered as chemist.
Fresh graduates or part time are also welcome
