HV Engineer (Mon-Fri, 0900-1800. HV WR2 Focused)

What You'll Do

  • Deliver Data Center operations including the operation, maintenance and repair of all mission critical equipment and systems supporting a 24/7 data centre operation to achieve 100% uptime and 100% compliance with all customer SLAs, site certifications and legislative requirements.

  • Maintain 24/7 continuity of utilities and ancillary services such as electrical, gas, air-conditioning, heating, water, sewerage, drainage, cleaning and waste management.

  • Focused on high voltage system and be part of the HV team planning, managing, and performing HV WR2 with the support from external vendors.

  • Work closely with the Customer to respond to, investigate and close out any service issues, escalating to the Critical Facility Manager or Director where these can’t be dealt with at a site level.

  • Oversee and inspect the work performed by external sub-contractors with a focus on the annual HV WR2.

  • Supervise and monitor assigned repairs, emergency and preventive maintenance works for the HV systems.

  • Complete and maintain maintenance and repair records.

  • Assist with drafting of HV-related EOP/SOP & MOPs

  • Review assigned work orders. Estimate the time and materials needed to complete the repairs. Orders necessary materials and supplies to complete all tasks. 

  • Respond to emergency situations, summoning additional assistance as needed and assist with first response and Incident Management.

Requirements

  • Higher Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering/Building Services Engineering is highly preferred. 

  • Minimum 2 years of E&M / technical facilities maintenance experience in Engineering Consultancy / Building Services / Facilities Management industry

  • REW H(0) a must. Prior experience in high-voltage system operations and maintenance is essential

  • Intermediate English proficiency for handling business written communications, reports and other paperwork
