Job Description:
· Fabric Library Development:
Establish, maintain, and continuously expand a well-organized fabric library, ensuring that samples and specifications are easily accessible for design and production teams.
· Innovation and Research:
Collaborate on innovation projects to explore advanced materials and emerging fashion trends, ensuring product relevance, quality standards, and market competitiveness.
Lead initiatives in fashion innovation by identifying on-trend fabrics and materials while ensuring they meet required quality standards and performance expectations.
· Product Upgrade Programs:
Drive and manage programs aimed at upgrading garment products, including proposing alternative materials and solutions to enhance performance, cost efficiency, and quality.
Support the development team in counter-sourcing key materials from reliable suppliers by ensuring optimal quality and durability.
· Others:
- Conduct thorough analyses of materials during the development phase to ensure they meet Celio's rigorous performance and quality standards.
- Maintain comprehensive material ID cards, documenting essential properties and testing results for easy reference.
- Collaborate with fabric mills to oversee production processes, ensuring adherence to specifications and quality standards.
- Conduct punctual inspections of fabrics to assess quality, durability, and compliance with company standards. Address any discrepancies with suppliers promptly.
- Lead initiatives in fashion innovation by identifying on-trend fabrics and materials while ensuring they meet required quality standards and performance expectations.
Qualifications:
· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Fashion Technology, or a related field.
· Experience: Minimum of 8 years in fabric development or quality assurance within the textile industry. Preferred experience in sourcing office multiproduct or fabrics trading.
Skills:
· Strong technical understanding of fabric & yarn properties and testing methodologies, fabric inspection.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
