Chatteris Teaching Interns are placed full-time in local Hong Kong schools to help raise students’ English language proficiency. As an intern, you will work with another Chatteris Teaching Intern and a Senior English tutor from abroad to create a lively English language environment through fun extracurricular activities and engaging lessons.
Teaching Interns also plan interactive workshops, informative tutorials, and hands-on events that enhance the school's curriculum and boost students' confidence and skills. Through dynamic interactions with students you will motivate them to learn and use English every day.
What do we expect from you?
Hong Kong permanent residency, the programme is specifically designed for individuals from ethnically diverse backgrounds (i.e. non-Chinese)
A Sub-Degree Programme (Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma, Higher Diploma, VTC) (any discipline)
Good level of English proficiency
An interest in working with children, teenagers, or young adults
An interest in a career in education
A proactive and creative nature
Cultural sensitivity and openness

Contract: Full-time, 2 years
Start date: Orientation begins on Thursday 2 July 2026
End date: Monday 31 May 2028
Salary: Starting salary of $14,000 HKD, with guaranteed progression
Paid Holidays: Approximately 25 days of paid holiday per annum, excluding weekends. This includes Christmas, Lunar New Year, and Easter holidays.
