Requirements:
- (a)(i) High Diploma or above, major in Building Studies subject;(ii)completed a recognised Technician Apprenticeship in building works; or (iii) at least five years' relevant experience in building works;
- (b) meet the language proficiency requirements of - (i) Level 2 or above in English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent; and (ii) Secondary 3 standard or above in Chinese Language, or equivalent.
Job Duties:
- (a) assisting in supervision of contract works in construction sites and facility upkeep works in government buildings, land, properties and slopes;
- (b) assisting in examination of works requests for facility upkeep, preparation of cost estimates and working sketches as well as preparation of stock requests;
- (c) assisting in monitoring site progress, exercising project quality control and maintaining site records;
- (d) assisting in checking compliance of contract requirements, in particular safety, environmental protection and other relevant requirements;
- (e) assisting in checking and verifying reports and claims submitted by contractors
