How you will make an impact:
The incumbent will engage with stakeholders across various business units and work alongside a team of Finance and IT professionals.
Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to assess business unit performance in relation to strategic objectives, providing insights for decision-making.
Collaboration: Partner with business unit budget holders and controllers to evaluate business costs and develop appropriate financial models that support operational efficiency.
Reporting: Compile monthly management reports, and assist in annual budgeting and forecasting processes to ensure financial targets are met.
Variance Analysis: Perform variance analysis against budgets and forecasts, conducting expenditure reviews to identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
Performance Measurement: Prepare management business review packages and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and report on business performance effectively.
Ad Hoc Assignments: Participate in additional ad hoc assignments as needed, supporting various financial projects and initiatives within the organization.
What we are looking for:
Degree or higher in Business, IT, Statistics, or Data Science.
Professional qualification such as CPA or CFA
At least 5 years of experience in management reporting or as a business unit controller/analyst
Proficient in Microsoft Excel modelling, including VBA and Macros; ability to handle and interpret large volumes of data.
Experience with SAP FICO, BPC, EPM, and Lease Management Systems (e.g. Yardi) is a plus.
Knowledge in setting up and organizing databases.
Strong analytical and communication skills; good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
Strong self-motivation with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Immediately available is preferred.
