How you will make an impact:

Chinachem Group is seeking a Communications Officer (1-year contract) with at least 2 years of relevant experience to support a project of Hop On, a company of Chinachem Group. The role focuses on internal and external communications, including bilingual content development, FAQs, lines‑to‑take, and issue/crisis handling support.

• Draft clear, accurate, and audience‑appropriate communication materials for stakeholders, including:

  • Letters, notices, and announcements (Chinese & English)

  • FAQs for enquiry hotlines

  • Lines-to-take for frontline staff and stakeholders

• Support issue and crisis communications, ensuring timely, consistent, and well‑aligned messaging

• Work closely with internal teams and external service partners to ensure smooth dissemination of information

• Assist in monitoring public sentiment, resident feedback, and emerging issues requiring communication responses

• Maintain high standards of accuracy, professionalism, confidentiality, and compliance in all materials

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Translation, Public Relations, or a related discipline

• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience, preferably in communications, PR, corporate affairs, or customer-facing content development

• Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese, with strong ability to draft clear and concise content

• Demonstrated issue and crisis management mindset — calm under pressure, solutions-oriented, and able to exercise sound judgement

• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks under tight timelines

• Experience preparing FAQs, LTTs, briefing notes, or external communications is an advantage

• A proactive, collaborative, and responsible team player
