About the role

Chinese Pharmaceuticals (HK) Co., Limited is seeking a talented Procurement Officer to join our team in Kwun Tong, Hong Kong. This full-time role is responsible for managing the procurement of goods and services to support our pharmaceutical manufacturing operations. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will play an integral part in ensuring the timely delivery of quality materials to our production facilities.

What you'll be doing

1. Sourcing, evaluating and selecting suppliers to meet the company's procurement needs

2. Negotiating and managing contracts with vendors to obtain the best possible terms

3. Monitoring inventory levels and placing orders to maintain optimal stock levels

4. Liaising with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement requirements

5. Tracking and reporting on procurement KPIs to identify areas for improvement

6. Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant regulations

7. Supporting the implementation of procurement process improvements and system enhancements

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 3-5 years of procurement or supply chain experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical or manufacturing industry

2. Strong negotiation and vendor management skills, with the ability to build and maintain productive relationships

3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with cross-functional teams

4. Proficient in using procurement software and data analysis tools to drive informed decision-making

5. Thorough understanding of supply chain management principles and best practices

6. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business or a related field

7. Fluency in English and Cantonese; proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage

8. Less-experienced candidates will be considered for the Assistant Procurement Officer position.
