Christian Action is a Hong Kong registered charitable organization, established in 1985, providing social services, humanitarian services, training services and social enterprise programmes in Hong Kong and Mainland China. Our Mission is to serve those who are poor, disadvantaged, marginalized, displaced or abandoned, aiming to give them hope, dignity and self-reliance. Our Service is based on the example of Jesus Christ who came to serve all people, regardless of their age, gender, nationality and religion.
Programmer (Officer) - System Development

Responsibilities

  • Analyze, develop, test, implement, and maintain various IT systems
  • Modify existing systems based on new requests or changes from users
  • Provide user training and support, and prepare system documentation
  • Develop and maintain website
  • Generate reports based on user requests
  • Administer and keep corresponding databases and web servers up to date
  • Ensure high information security for various IT systems
  • Perform any ad hoc duties as required

Requirements

  • Higher Diploma or above in Computer Science, Information Technology or related disciplines
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
  • Good knowledge of web application development using programming languages such as HTML, CSS, PHP, Java script, MySQL, etc.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
  • Proficient in written Chinese and English
  • Proficient in MS Excel
  • Candidate with more experience will be considered as Senior Officer
