Key Responsibilities:

• Cloud Networking: Manage and optimize AWS VPC, subnets, security groups, and networking services such as AWS Transit Gateway, VPN, and Direct Connect.

• On-Premise Network Management: Maintain and support LAN/WAN infrastructure, including switches, routers, and firewalls.

• Firewall Configuration & Security: Configure and monitor firewalls (Cisco, Fortinet, etc.) to enforce security policies and protect network traffic.

• Network Performance & Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve network-related issues across cloud and on-premise environments to ensure seamless connectivity.

• Automation & Monitoring: Utilize tools like CloudWatch, Nagios, or Prometheus for monitoring network health and automate configurations where possible.

• Security & Compliance: Implement best practices for network security, including encryption, identity access management, and compliance with industry standards.

• Collaboration: Work closely with cloud architects, IT support teams, and security engineers to maintain a secure and efficient network infrastructure.

  
  

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related discipline;

• Minimum 2 years of working experience in implementing/maintaining network infrastructure;

• Strong knowledge of AWS networking (VPC, Route Tables, Load Balancers, VPN, Direct Connect);

• Experience with on-premise network management, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and routing protocols (BGP, OSPF);

• Expertise in configuring firewalls (Cisco, Fortinet) and implementing security policies;

• Hands-on experience with VPN, IPSec tunnels, and SD-WAN solutions;

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience managing hybrid cloud environments (AWS with on-premise integration);

• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) for automating network deployments;

• Scripting experience in Python, Bash, or Terraform for network automation preferred;

• Familiarity with network monitoring tools (Wireshark, CloudWatch);

• Certifications such as AWS Certified Advanced Networking, CCNP, or Fortinet NSE are a plus.
