Analyst Programmer (Dynamics 365 & Power Platform)

Duties:

  • Support the end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects and major system upgrades, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, timelines, and budgets.
  • Translate business needs into comprehensive technical blueprints by gathering and analyzing detailed user requirements and drafting technical tender specifications.
  • Define User Acceptance Testing (UAT) strategies, design test cases, and lead business users through rigorous testing phases to ensure software quality.
  • Orchestrate deployment schedules, manage production release risks, and oversee post-launch stabilization through to formal project closure.
  • Execute system configurations and custom enhancements within cloud-based platforms and enterprise systems (such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 and the Power Platform ecosystem).
  • Plan and oversee data mapping, cleansing, and secure data migration activities from legacy environments to modern databases (e.g., Azure SQL, Microsoft Dataverse).
  • Formulate deployment and cutover strategies to minimize business disruption and ensure seamless system transitions.
  • Monitor system health, conduct performance tuning, and optimize workflows (e.g., in Power Automate) to maximize system efficiency and user adoption.
  • Proactively identify system bottlenecks or operational gaps, proposing continuous improvements and automated solutions to keep platforms modern.
  • Facilitate technical discussions and change management efforts to drive timely project delivery and widespread user acceptance.
  • Undertake ad-hoc duties, specialized technical investigations, or emergency support tasks as required by management to support organizational agility.

Requirements:

  • A recognized degree with at least 3 years of practical experience in a project management role
  • Solid knowledge and hands-on experience in the following areas:
  • Cloud-based platforms (e.g. Azure, AWS)
  • CRM / enterprise systems (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps)
  • Databases (e.g. Microsoft Dataverse, Azure SQL)
  • Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese
