Analyst Programmer (Node.js, SQL, $35-45K)

Job Duties:

  • Assist in system analysis & design, carry out implementation, documentation, report generation, testing, and maintenance of various management systems
  • Develop, enhance and maintain micro-services based on Node.js and RabbitMQ
  • Define API in accordance with industry best practices
  • Enhances system performance of various management systems as a whole, including from software perspective (e.g. API design, version upgrade) and infrastructure perspective (e.g. hardware utilization, resilience), and prepare technical proposals proactively
  • Ensure project deliverables to be on time and meet quality standard
  • Evaluate and inspect/review hardware, software, and prepare technical proposals of IT equipment and services
  • Perform other IT services or tasks as assigned by supervisor.

Job Requirements:

  • Higher diploma in computer subjects or related disciplines
  • 2 years or above hands-on experience in IT application development
  • Solid experience in web application systems using Node.js, MongoDB or SQL Server.
  • Experience in database performance tuning
  • Knowledge on RESTful API is a must
  • Strong commitment to project deadline and delivering high quality work
