Analyst Programmer (PHP, Adobe Flash)

Job Duties:

  • To provide technical advice on the further development of the one-stop portal platform of Student Assessment Repository (STAR), Web-based Learning and Teching Support (WLTS) and GoAdaptive, with the particular focus on the incorporation of appropriate Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools. (e.g. for marking open-ended assessment tasks/ items and user interaction with chatbot) into the platform, as well as IT solutions to the problems identified on the platform
  • To Assist the subject teams in monitoring and managing the use of the AI tools on the STAR platform by working collaboratively with the Hong Kong Education City
  • To convert the pen-and-paper version of the STAR assessment items / tasks prepared by the subject teams and upload the corresponding e-version of the assessment items / tasks to the STAR platform, as well as fixing all the bugs and problems identified
  • To assist the subject teams in modifying the learning and teaching resources of the WLTS and GoAdaptive by providing technical support, as well as uploading the resources, including the interactive games / activities prepared to the STAR platform and fix the bugs and problems identified
  • To provide technical support in the initiatives in the promotion of assessment literacy among different stakeholders, including PDPs, seminars, talks and workshops and other related publicity activities
  • To perform any other duties as assigned

Job Requirement:

  • Higher Diploma in Computer Science or related subjects
  • At least three (3) years' post-qualification information technology experience of which at least one (1) year must be in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
  • At least 3 years in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop and Flash
  • Proficient in systems programming (such as PHP and web programming) or technical support of systems software
  • Good communication skills
  • Good command in spoken and written Chinese and English
