BI Programmer / Analyst Programmer (Tableau, Java, over $40K)

Job Description: 

  • Review work and documentation submitted by contractors
  • Facilitate and conduct acceptance tests
  • Coordinate with contractors to ensure quality of deliverables
  • Perform system bug fixes and feature enhancements with quick response time
  • Maintain applications and databases by evaluating client needs and analyzing requirements
  • Arrange project requirements in programming sequence by analyzing requirements and preparing workflow charts and diagrams
  • Analyze user information system needs
  • Address public enquiries related to the website or e-submission systems
  • In relation to IT support, to
  • Conduct system analysis
  • Implement web-based applications with Business Intelligence Dashboard
  • Maintain daily operation on application servers
  • Provide post-installation knowledge on Business Intelligence application design
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisors

Requirements:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information System or related discipline 
  • At least 3 years in data and web programming
  • Knowledge of Tableau and proficiency in web application development with Java, JavaScript, HTML and data operation in SQL server are required
  • Proficient in JSP, Servlet, JavaScript, XML,CSS, Java/web application using J2EE technology
  • Good communication skills
  • Good command in spoken and written English and Chinese
