Compliance Officer (Bank, $25K - $28K)

Job Duties:

  • Assist in conducting compliance testing, assessments and reviews according to the compliance monitoring programs, and identify actions for improvement and monitor the effectiveness of remedial actions taken.
  • Coordinate and perform regulatory self-assessments, inspections and investigations, and handle queries from internal or external auditors and the Parent Bank.
  • Perform research and gap analysis on key legal and regulatory changes. 
  • Maintain proper record keeping and provide general administrative support.
  • Handle ad hoc tasks/projects assigned from time to time.

Requirements:

  • Degree holder
  • Minimum 2 years’ solid auditing experience or compliance assurance experience in banking industry or audit firm.
  • Professional qualification (e.g. ACOP or equivalent) is preferred.
  • Familiar with Banking Ordinance and HKMA SPMs, codes and guidelines.
  • Good interpersonal skills, self-motivated and detail-orientated.
  • Good command of written English.
