GIS Engineer (system development / SQL, $35-48K)

Job Duties:

  • Provide technical support for the system development and implementation of system
  • Closely monitor and liaise with service contractor for timely submission of the deliverables
  • Prepare test cases, perform testing and consolidate test incident report (TIR) from stakeholders for follow up (both application and system)
  • Assist in site preparation and acceptance of hardware, software, network in cloud and premises (on-premises) environment
  • Provide system and maintenance support
  • Conduct any duties as assigned by supervisors

Job Requirements:

  • Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related Computer Studies discipline
  • At least 3 years experience in GIS
  • At least 2 years experience in working for government projects
  • Proficient in SQL, application development
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proactive, self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Immediate available is highly preferred
