Infrastructure Engineer (Cloud infrastructure)

Job Requirements:

  • Join IT Platform team to plan, design and implement the IT Systems across the On-premise Data Centers and Public Cloud infrastructure.
  • Manage and implement the infrastructure for different project teams
  • Manage daily support and maintenance of the Cloud infrastructure to achieve the SLA of the applications. 
  • Support the enhancement works and performance tuning for the Cloud and Data Analytic Platform. 
  • Participate in various projects, provide systems support and maintenance, as well as liaise with users and work with contractors and vendors on technical works
  • Provide training and advices to other teams.
  • Candidates should possess the following technical background and knowledge.
  • Multi Cloud Solution Architecture. (DevOps, API Management)
  • Microservice Architecture (AKS, K8S, OpenShift)
  • Self-motivate, able to work independently and under pressure.
  • Good problem solving and analytical skill.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills in both written and spoken English/ Chinese.

Attributes / Working Experience:

  • Higher Diploma / Degree in Computing or related subjects
  • 5 years of working experience or above in IT infrastructure administration and support 
  •  Experience with Chinese public clouds such as Alibaba Cloud or Huawei Cloud is an advantage.
  •  Experience in FinOps projects, with knowledge of cost management in cloud platforms.
  • Self-initiative and work with passion and a can-do attitude.
  • Able to work independently and under pressure to meet defined schedule/deadline.
  • Good team player.
  • Sound problem solving and analytical skill.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills in written and spoken English and Chinese preferably including Putonghua.
