Infrastructure Engineer (Network & Server, over $60K)

Job Description:

  • Assist in design, implementation and support for the IT infrastructure and operation 
  • Assist in preparing and implementing the comprehensive IT plans, including infrastructure setup, application development and system integration
  • Liaise and coordinate with stakeholders in Hong Kong and Guangdong Province in supporting the installation and integration of IT hardware and software in various venues
  • Provide technical expertise in system integration and ensure the IT systems and IT infrastructure 
  • Prepare documents for procurement of hardware, software and related services
  • Provide support on the implementation, integration, administration and trouble-shooting of network infrastructure, and sports competition and management systems
  • Oversee the transition of IT services between different phases 
  • Assist in project progress monitoring, user coordination, requirement gathering, management of contractor 
  •  performance, project progress review, quality assurance of project deliverables and acceptance testing
  •  Ensure projects can be implemented in compliance with numerous IT policy and guidelines

Requirement Details:

  • Higher Diploma or above in IT
  • Possess at least 4 years' experience in setup and administration of network switch, router, wireless access point, server and endpoint hardware
  • Possess at least 4 years' experience in system implementation and support
  • Possess at least 1 years' experience in system implementation and support for sports events
  • Possess experience in supporting government projects will be an advantage
  • Possess good written communication skill in English and Chinese 
  • Good command in spoken English and Putonghua is required
