Infrastructure Specialist / Senior System Engineer (Active Directory, over $60K)

Job Description:

  • Design, implement, support, and maintain email systems and their integrations.
  • Review and improve Active Directory (AD), DNS, and related platforms.
  • Support, test, and monitor AD, DNS, server clustering, DFS, and related services.
  • Develop automation scripts (e.g., PowerShell) for daily tasks.
  • Perform daily operations across AD forests/domains to ensure system health.
  • Tune performance, manage upgrades, and optimize resources.
  • Monitor AD and Windows servers using custom or standard tools; respond quickly to alerts.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of security, networking, and DNS principles.
  • Manage and troubleshoot Group Policy Objects (GPOs) at enterprise scale.
  • Set up and maintain testing environments.
  • Assist with IT project and vendor management; provide administrative support and deliverables.
  • Work outside office hours and provide on-call support when needed.
  • Oversee server patch management; coordinate with departments on rollouts and issue resolution.

Requirement Details:

  • Higher Diploma or above in IT or related subjects
  • Minimum of 4 years of hands-on working experience in system implementation, maintenance and support of enterprise level Microsoft Active Directory infrastructure, DNS, GPOs, cross-AD forests/domains support.
  • Minimum of 4 years of hands-on working experience in management, implementation, support, and upgrade of Microsoft Active Directory.
  • Minimum of 4 years of hands-on working experience in implementation and support of Microsoft Windows Server 2016, 2019 and 2022.
  • Minimum of 1 year of working experience in implementation and support of security risk assessment and audit.
  • Good command in spoken and written English is required.
