Infrastructure Specialist / Senior System Engineer (Active Directory, over $60K)

Job Description:

  • Provide support for networks, servers, and infrastructure (installation, configuration, monitoring, maintenance, troubleshooting).
  • Manage departmental email services (both central platform and on‑premise servers).
  • Work with ICT teams, contractors to upgrade mail servers and email archive systems.
  • Handle IT projects across all stages (requirements, design, procurement, migration, testing, rollout, documentation, maintenance).
  • Track project progress and ensure quality of outsourced work.
  • Monitor and optimize performance of applications, networks, and servers.
  • Offer technical support for IT facilities (PCs, mobile devices).
  • Prepare specifications and evaluate IT products during procurement.
  • Test and trial new IT products and solutions.
  • Maintain security, monitoring, backups, and system health checks.

Requirement Details:

  • Higher Diploma or above
  • At least 5 post-qualification information technology experience
  • Experience in system design, implementation, integration, upgrade and/or migration
  • Experience in administration and monitoring of outsourced projects
  • Hands-on experience in supporting enterprise network and infrastructure systems such as email system, file servers, endpoint detection and response (EDR), mobile device management, Active Directory, Lotauthentication system, and/or system monitoring
  • Experience with enterprise IT management and monitoring tools (e.g. server and network monitoring, helpdesk / service desk, identity and access management,
  • Experience with mobile device operating systems (such as iOS, Android and HarmonyOS)
  • Experience in Lotus notes mail admin & technical support
  • Candidates with working experience with/in the Government will be given priority
  • Possess a profound understanding of IT security principles including secure system and network design
  • Familiarity with IT security controls, backup procedures, housekeeping jobs and related operational controls for enterprise systems
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and with users and contractors
