Infrastructure Specialist (Wan Chai, over $60K)

Job Duties:

  • Coordinate with different stakeholders including end users, contractors and vendors to ensure the smooth running of projects
  • Prepare the requirement specifications for the related IT procurement for the project implementation;
  • Monitor the performance of the contractor and ensure the performance meeting the planned schedule and user expectation
  • Perform quality control on the system design, application programs and related deliverables
  • Assist users in user acceptance testing, training and system deployment and rollout at correctional institutions if necessary
  • Coordinate with the contractors to support the security risk assessment and audit and privacy impact assessment conducted by third parties;
  • Assist in system maintenance including collecting system logs from Smart Prison systems in different correctional facilities

Job Requirement:

  • Higher Diploma or above in Computer Science or related subjects
  • At least 6 years' experience in IT industry
  • At least 3 years' experience in supporting system implementation and maintenance;
  • At least 3 years' experience in Windows servers and virtual server infrastructure;
  • At least 3 years' experience in IT Procurement and Vendor Management
  • Experience in Python programming is an advantage;
