Java Developer (J2EE, over $30K)

Job Description:

  • To perform various tasks for the implementation of new systems
  • To collect user requirement and provide technical support in system design and analysis
  • To provide IT support and advice in various system tests of new systems
  • To assist in the review of the deliverables prepared by contractors to assure the quality and compliance with latest government standards
  • To perform diagnosis with contractors on technical issues and monitor the progress of the remedy actions
  • To perform any other duties as may be required for meeting the department's business needs.

Requirements:

  • Higher Diploma / Degree in Information Technology related subjects
  • At least 3 years in application development
  • Experience in providing technical support on system implementation of multi-vendor mission critical systems
  • Experience in database design to support application requirements and reporting needs - Experience in integration with third-party systems
  • Proficiency in Putonghua
  • May require to take up on-call duty
