Java Programmer / Software Developer ($33K - $48K)

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop innovative web application systems that meet organizational needs.
  • Build and integrate system interfaces to ensure seamless communication between departmental platforms.
  • Translate business requirements into technical designs, ensuring feasibility, scalability, and adherence to industry best practices.
  • Prepare, maintain, and update project documentation, including technical specifications, user guides, and system manuals.
  • Conduct thorough testing including unit tests, system tests, and load/performance tests to ensure reliability and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support ongoing projects and provide technical expertise.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance system performance and user experience.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in web-based application development and support.
  • Strong proficiency in Java programming, with solid knowledge of software development principles, design patterns, and methodologies (Agile/Scrum preferred).
  • Familiarity with web frameworks (e.g., Spring, Hibernate) and front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment, with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
