Network Engineer (1 year exp, MNC)

Job Duties:

  • Assist Manager to support the New Data Center Project
  • Manage and configure network firewalls, IPS, network detection and response (NDR) appliances, firewall management platform, network taps, network threat analysis (NTAs) brokers, network packet brokers (NPBs), SSL decryption technology, firewall management tool
  • Integrate the newly built network security infrastructure with Security Operation Centre (SOC)
  • Prepare standard work procedure and guidelines and contribute ideas
  • Liaise with other internal counterparts / vendors on technical support issues and change issues
  • Prepare project documentation, test plan and conduct technical briefings, coordinate DR drills & non-functional User Acceptance Test (UAT) with project teams.

Job Requirements:

  • Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related disciplines. 
  • At least 1 year of relevant working experience in networking
  • At least 2 skills of the products - network firewalls, IPS, network detection and response (NDR) appliances, firewall management platform, network taps, network threat analysis (NTAs) brokers, network packet brokers (NPBs), SSL decryption technology as well as firewall management tool in sizable company
  • Proactive, strong customer centric mindset and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and work effectively under tight deadlines and schedules.
  • Good communication skills in both spoken and written English, Mandarin is an advantage.
