Project Manager (Java, over $70K)

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Plan, implement and control all phases of new system development project including project initiation, system analysis and design, implementation, system maintenance and support
  • Supervise and facilitate in-house IT staff and/or contractors to deliver the project deliverables
  • Manage the progress, resource allocation and administrative activities of IT system development projects
  • Liaise and co-ordinate with various parties including but not limited to the system end users, IT contractors and other support teams of IT services
  • Carry out technical assessment/research and select appropriate technical options

Requirement Details:

  • Higher Diploma or above in IT
  • At least 8 years of experience in IT field 
  • At least 2 years of experience in the role as a project manager or equivalent
  • Solid work experience in system implementation and project management
  • Solid experience in implementing Java applications
  • Possesses good communication skills and business analysis technique
  • Solid experience in rolling out web-based applications to end users, enabling them understand and use well the functionality of the system
  • At least 1 year experience in Government Project
  • Experience in implementing cloud-based applications is an advantage
  • Knowledge in Government human resources management is an advantage
