Project Manager (System implementation, over $70K, Wanchai)

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Mainly Responsible for management and monitoring of the System Analysis & Design, implementation, system integration, maintenance and support of a new information system
  • Oversee the project progress & spending position
  • Manage and supervise the internal project team
  • Provide overall contractor management and coordination
  • Prepare the work assignment briefs for the procurement of related hardware, software and services, etc.
  • Assist users to identify the user requirements for system development and the use of spatial data
  • Coordinate the setup and maintenance of the information system in cloud platform and assist the contractors to perform necessary tests to ensure a high level of system reliability and availability
  • Provide assistance on user acceptance test, data conversion and verification activities
  • Provide technical advice, resolve any possible conflict and follow up all technical problems
  • Review system deliverables and documentation
  • Assist users in governing the systems conformance to Company's policies and standards
  • Perform any other related duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirement Details:

  • Higher Diploma or above in IT
  • At least 10 years of experience in IT field
  • At least 4 years of experience in the role as a project manager or equivalent
  • Solid experience in conducting SA&D, system implementation and integration, maintenance and support, project management, IT operational management, IT Security and IT planning, outsourcing management and other related technical skills
  • At least 5 years experience work with/in the Government
  • Work experience in implementing large scale system, high availability and disaster recovery requirements
  • Knowledge in Government IT standards & procurement procedures, having professional IT qualification (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2, etc.)
  • Experience in using Geographic Information System and Government cloud services is preferred
