Senior Application Developer (Wan Chai, over $60K)

Job Description:

  • Assist in System Analysis & Design (SA&D), System implementation and Integration (SI&I) and maintenance support for the IT Systems and applications
  • Assist in preparing the documents for the combined system development services for the IT systems and applications required in the Games
  • Assist in implementation, integration, administration, technical support and trouble-shooting for the IT systems and applications required in the Games
  • Assist in project progress monitoring, user coordination, requirement gathering, management of contractor performance, project progress review, quality assurance of project deliverables, acceptance testing, security risk assessment & audit and privacy impact assessment
  • Ensure projects can be implemented in compliance with numerous IT policy and guidelines

Requirements:

  • Higher Diploma or above
  • Possess at least 4 years’ experience in IT system and application development and management
  • Possess at least 2 years’ experience in JAVA / Python / C# (.Net) application development
  • Possess at least 2 years’ experience in web based application development
  • Possess at least 1 year experience in public-facing IT system and application development and management, preferably in large-scale events
  • Experience in other programming languages will be an advantage
  • Experience in supporting government projects will be an advantage
  • Good command in spoken and written English and Chinese is required
