Senior GIS Developer / GIS Specialist (over $60K)

Job Duties:

  • To analyze, integrate, report and present the system status and required data
  • To provide technical, specialist advice and consultation in IT areas for office operation, development of the system and system integration, such as data analysis and modelling, network, methodologies, quality, security, IT benchmarking, and best practice studies
  • Monitoring and supervising the IT service contractors, and adopting hands on approach if required                                                                                                                                                                                                                                           

Job Requirements:

  • Degree in either Computer Science, Information System, Land Surveying, Geomatics or equivalents
  • At least 4 years post-qualification experience in IT system development and maintenance
  • At least 3 years post-qualification experience in GIS applications development, GIS system maintenance and support
  • At least 2 years practical experience in implementation, system integration and maintenance with enterprise dataset applications
  • At least 1 year mobile phone application development
