Senior Infrastructure Engineer (Linux, Security, over $58K)

Job Description:

  • Provide IT advice and support for the implementation of the system infrastructure.
  • Offer IT support and advice on hardware upgrades and resource planning for the system.
  • Supervise and provide technical advice on System Integration Tests (SITs) and User Acceptance Tests (UATs) during system implementation.
  • Diagnose technical issues with contractors and monitor the progress of remedial actions.
  • Review project deliverables and monitor contractor performance for the system.

Requirement Details:

  • Higher Diploma or Degree in Information Technology or its equivalent
  • At least 4 years’ experience in Linux System Administration and Server Virtualisation Technology
  • At least 3 years’ experience in IT Security and Quality Assurance
  • Experience in implementation, administration and maintenance of virtualization platform and Linux servers for mission critical systems
  • Experience in Linux server management including operating system configuration, system resources monitoring, performance tuning, security patching and operating system hardening
