Senior / Junior Data Analyst (Python, R, Kowloon Bay)

Job Duties:

  • Assist business teams in data exploration
  • Understand the available datasets on travel pattern, loyalty programme, app browsing history and video analytics
  • Facilitate business teams in utilizing the datasets for ETL, data visualization and segmentation
  • Support supervisors and managers in conducting data analytics, preparing reports and maintaining dashboards
  • Assist in operating and monitoring the use of Customer Data InnoStation, including activities logging and usage monitoring
  • Assist in the development on innovative data-driven services

Job Requirements:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology or related disciplines
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills in both written and spoken English and Chinese
  • 1-3 years of hands-on experience in data analytics 
  • Strong analytical skills and sensitive to numbers
  • Demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work independently
  • Experience in one or more of the following sets of tools and technologies is an advantage:
  1. Data visualization tools, eg. PowerBI
  2. Database programme, eg. SQL
  3. Programming languages, e.g. Python, R
  4. Front end web technologies, e.g. HTML5, web scraping
  5. Process Automation, e.g. Power Automate
  • Relevant experience in facilitating business teams in data exploration is an advantage
  • More than 6 years experience will be considered for senior role
