Senior System Engineer (Kowloon Bay, up to $40K)

Job Duties:

  • Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot server hardware, operating systems, and related infrastructure components (Windows Server and Linux).
  • Manage and support virtualization platforms, including VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter.
  • Administer and support Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and File/Print Services.
  • Manage and support Microsoft Exchange (on-premises), including mailbox administration, mail flow management, and troubleshooting.
  • Implement, manage, and monitor backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions, including Veritas NetBackup.
  • Perform system monitoring, performance tuning, capacity planning, and health checks using enterprise monitoring tools such as SolarWinds.
  • Manage and support enterprise storage platforms, SAN infrastructure, and related technologies.
  • Administer, support, and troubleshoot Horizon VDI environments.
  • Perform vulnerability scanning, security remediation follow-up, and infrastructure hardening activities.

Job Requirement:

  • F.5 or above
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience in infrastructure administration, system engineering, or a similar role, preferably within the banking or financial services industry.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Windows Server and Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu).
  • Solid experience with virtualization technologies, particularly VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter.
  • Strong knowledge of core infrastructure services including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and File/Print Services.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Exchange administration and troubleshooting.
  • Experience administering enterprise backup solutions, preferably Veritas NetBackup.
