Senior System Support / Infrastructure Specialists (AIX/DB2, over $60K)

Job Description:

  • To provide IT support and advice for the implementation and the enhancements
  • To coordinate with project teams and contractors for the system enhancement and maintenance of backend applications
  • To monitor and review the deliverables prepared by contractors for the required quality and compliance with government standards
  • To perform diagnosis with contractors on technical issues and monitor the progress of the remedy actions
  • To perform any other duties as may be required for meeting the department's business needs.

 

Requirement Details:

  • Higher Diploma or above in IT related subjects
  • At least 5 years’ experience in system implementation and maintenance/ support
  • Strong experience in providing technical support on IT System Implementation and Maintenance of mission critical system
  • Strong experience in Windows and AIX platform
  • Strong experience in DB2 relational database
  • Experience in IT Service / Outsourcing Management
  • Required to take up on-call duty
