System Analyst (Mobile, Web, over $60K)

Job Duties:

  • Participate in analysis and design, implementation, maintenance, and testing 
  • Analyse user requirements, research, design and implement web and mobile applications 
  • Design and provide technical guidance, standards and support to development teams throughout the software development lifecycle 
  • Implement best practices and coding standards, and conduct code reviews 
  • Assure and control the quality of the project deliverables produced by the contractors/vendors 
  • Provide daily administrative support, preparation of deliverables meeting the internal standards and requirements of the project 
  • Conduct system testing and rollout support 
  • Monitor and report system usage and healthiness 
  • Perform any work assigned by supervisor

Requirements:

  • Higher Diploma in Computer Science or related subjects
  • Minimum of 4 years of working experience in system analysis and design 
  • Minimum of 4 years of working experience in application development and management of IT systems 
  • Solid working experience in mobile application development on Android platform using latest technologies is required 
  • Sound knowledge of UI/UX patterns, responsive design principles, and mobile platform guidelines is required 
  • Solid working experience in web services development, e.g. RESTful API design, Ajax, etc. is required 
  • Experience in web-based applications using the latest technologies and frameworks, e.g. Vue.js, React.js, Spring, Django, Node.js, is preferred 
  • Experience in micro-services architecture and containerisation technologies, e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, etc. is preferred 
  • Experience in email solutions and messaging solutions is preferred 
  • Experience in application development on private cloud platforms is preferred 
  • Good command in spoken and written English is required 
  • Good command in spoken Mandarin is preferred
