System Analyst (over $55K, Application development)

Job Description:

  • Design, develop, test and commission application specific software for IT projects or supporting different electrical and mechanical (E&M) engineering systems (e.g., iBMS, RDCC platform).
  • Acquire and analyses user requirements, coordinate with consultants, contractors and internal staff for various project matters.
  • Conduct in-house software design, debugging, testing, commissioning and documentation.
  • Coordinate with consultants, contractors and internal staff to arrange the on-site installation of IT equipment and facilities including server, network equipment and other IT facilities.
  • Conduct procurement of IT services / equipment / systems, including tender preparation, etc.
  • Manage contractors and service outsourcing.
  • Support user acceptance test and production rollout.
  • Ensure service deliverables to be completed on time and meet quality standard.

 

Requirement Details:

  • Degree holder in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computing Studies, Information Systems, Information Technology, Information Engineering or equivalent.
  • 5 years or above in IT or related fields.
  • Have work experience in JavaScript Programming, Microsoft SQL Server and web hosting, design and maintenance
  • Have work experience with/in the Government
  • Strong commitment to task deadline and delivering high quality work.
  • Creative, analytical, self-initiative, responsible and well-organized.
  • Good communication and presentation skills.
